Community Traditions

A collection of neighborhood traditions and programs that help make Carriage Hill a special place to call home.

  • 🎄 Holiday Lighting Tradition

Carriage Hill is widely recognized for its coordinated red and white holiday lighting display. Each holiday season, more than 300 homes participate, transforming neighborhood streets into one of the area's most recognizable holiday displays.

Residents typically decorate street trees, landscaping, and homes using the community's signature red and white theme, creating a festive and unified appearance throughout the neighborhood.

  • 🛺 Golf Cart Friendly Community

Golf carts are also featured in community traditions, including the annual Carriage Hill Golf Cart Poker Run, where residents travel to multiple host homes for food, refreshments, and friendly competition.

For everyone’s safety, operators should be at least 16 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, and comply with applicable township and state regulations.

Carriage Hill’s golf cart-friendly atmosphere is one of the many traditions that helps make our community a fun, connected, and welcoming place to call home.

  • 🇺🇸 Rotary Flag Program

Residents may subscribe to the Rotary Club Flag Program for flags installed, removed, and stored during patriotic holidays.

  • 🎀 Red Mailbox Bow Tradition

Many residents decorate mailboxes with red bows during the Christmas season, creating a unified holiday look throughout the community.
